Tiger King

On Netflix I recently watched the new docuseries called Tiger King. At first when I began watching the show I thought that the main focus was going to be on the issue of owning exotic pets in the United States. Little did I realize how dramatic and intense the show was going to become over the course of seven episodes. The continous drama and fighting over the course of many years between Carol Baskin and Joe Exotic was crazy. The main storyline in the show was about what happened to Carol’s previous husband who mysteriously disappeared. Joe Exotic is always trying to make Carole look like a bad person which was his motive behind making a music video named “Here Kitty Kitty” which made many people believe that Carole’s second husband, Don Lewis, did not just disappear but in fact she fed him to the tigers in the middle of the night to cover up the evidence. Personally, I believe that Carole Baskin fed Don Lewis to her tigers in the middle of the night because the evidence shown in the docuseries isn’t sufficient enough to explain his disappearance. Many people go to Carole Baskin’s place, Big Cat Rescue, because on the internet she is portrayed as the hero in this situation but I believe that this is quite the opposite. I feel that Carole Baskin is abusing the tigers that live in her zoo and that she is not providing them with an adequate amount of space to live and roam around in. In the docuseries there is a plot to kill Carole Baskin through a murder for hire. Joe Exotic is now living in jail after he hired someone to attempt to kill his nemesis, Carole Baskin. In the docuseries the plot to kill Carole Baskin is very complicated and there are many different pepople htat are involved woh are trying to stop the murder and get Joe arrested and htere are also many people who are working iwth Joe to attempt to finally kill Carole. Joe Exotic says in a video aimed at Carole and her friends saying that before they will be able to bring him down i.e. shut down his zoo that Carole will stop breathing. I think that Netflix did an incredible job showing the feud between Joe Exotic and Carole Baskin and also showing the two sides of the story with all the people involved in both parties in this exciting and interesting docuseries.
